If you compare that from a 5 year CA, you’d see even more difference.
Line holder guarantee at UAL is 70 hours.

I think you're the joker that needs to realize every pilot here isn't on 12 year CA pay. And the rest of the rates including 12 year CA pay are an industry-sucking joke.

How is it an industry sucking joke? It looks pretty good to me.

Let's please discuss facts based in reality. Let's try some real math
Top of scale United Airbus captains make 261 or 272 depending on 319 or 320. Our new rates as of March will be 245.

United A320: 272×75= 20,400.
Frontier A320: 245×75= 18,400.

A frontier pilot must credit an additional 8 hours, not the additional 55 hours you claimed.
Can we please try to have a discussion based in reality?
Let’s do the math...
United: $272 x 90 HRS = $24,480
Average rate = $272/hr

Frontier: $245 x 90 HRS = $22,540
Average rate = $250.44

The math only gets worse for us if we consider the other benefits garnered by our peers: 401(k), sick time accrual, JBs ability to sell back sick time, profit sharing, days off, etc. The list goes on and on.

If you are holding out for United's contract, you will be waiting a longggggg time.

You seem quite content to vote yes without seeing it. Is that a fair assessment?

Who said that? The numbers look similar using less than JB rates too.

The truth of the matter is that these rates are....well, the math speaks for itself.

I’m not sure why everyone keeps using $272 for United’s top CA rate while making their comparisons. That rate is about to change, while we will be stuck with our rates another 8 years.

Actually, people should be using United’s 230 seat aircraft CA rate for comparison, which is currently $282.

That being said, it’s not about the money for me. It’s about the QOL. I can sacrifice pay (relative to current industry average) to keep our current line bidding system. Accepting any type of PBS system is a CONCESSION for me.

The fact that we are conceding PBS and getting nothing in return is unfathomable to me. We didn’t even get industry average pay for that concession. We got industry bottom pay.

Can you repost the AIP? I want to see the specifics of what was agreed to. Oh wait.

Are you suggesting that PBS won’t be part of the AIP? That would be great!
