From what I’ve been hearing, yes 2% is pretty close. We’ll the details in a week.

I'm pretty sure we are all hearing the same numbers.

JetBlue $259 x 70 = $18,130
Frontier $245 x 75 = $18,375

That sums up how this TA will be sold.

You guys that are saying Spirit plus 2% are only looking at the top rate. Spirit’s pay scale takes a much steeper climb to 12 years than Frontier’s proposed (02SEP2016 email).

Just an abbreviated summary of Spirit’s current scale versus the Frontier Date of Signing proposed scale.

4yr CA: $200 Spirit / $221 Frontier (10.5%)
6yr CA: $204 Spirit / $231 Frontier (13.2%)
8yr CA: $213 Spirit / $236 Frontier (10.8%)
10yr CA: $224 Spirit / $241 Frontier (7.5%)
12yr CA: $238 Spirit / $245 Frontier (2.9%)

The FO scale is similar, 8yr FO at Frontier is making an extra 12.8% on hourly rate.

Our proposed scale takes a more industry standard pay rate climb.

I'm going to give our guys the benefit of the doubt. That example makes zero sense, and doesn't sound like something our guys would fall for. Perhaps only if they negotiated work rules that are good enough to make up for it.....wait and see.

Those pay rates are over 2 years old from our original proposal. We have a new pay rate proposal.

Please don't tell me we caved on PBS and went back to our original proposal?

Time will tell, but I think the collective rumor is we got our original ask (top captain rate).

This is my fear, our union agreeing to a subpar FO to CA ratio. More than once, I've heard that "upgrades are soo quick here, the FO rates don't matter."

I really wouldn't be surprised at all to see a 60% FO rate vs the ALPA standard 67%. That's a lot of negotiating capital at the expense of our "never going to upgrade" crowd.
