This is very good advice. We are a very safe and very diligent pilot group. But, I have noticed that I am very distracted at work lately. These retaliatory actions by our management have created a lot of stress on the pilot group. I mean cancelling someone’s vacation because you can’t manage an airline properly because you want to delay a contract. Threatening letters for being not fit to fly and using accrued sick leave. Kangaroo court section 13 hearings for nonsense. This is insane and reckless!! I pray that nothing happens. If metal gets bent, the blame falls squarely on management and ownership! They could easily get this contract done! They just want to prove how powerful they are to compensate for something else I guess. It is an ignorant, dangerous gamble to put stress on a group of workers who with one mistake in a healthy environment could end this airline. It screams willful negligence. If we had an incident or worse while knowingly violating any FAR or company policy the way the owners and upper management have been knowingly playing with peoples’ lives here, we would be shown no mercy. The words “present and contributing” come to mind. I don’t know how these people can look at themselves in the mirror everyday. So for god’s sake, be safe! The amount of stress on us is monumental at this point and it’s only going to get tougher as the games and shenanigans they throw at us increase. Hope you weren’t planning on vacation to spend Christmas with your family.

It was exactly the type of post the company will use as evidence in a countersuit. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was posted by someone at the GO.

Your very short life on APC has included inciting work actions on two occasions. You’re not off to a good start, my friend. That’s all we need is to give the NMB an excuse to slow down the process even more than they already have...

Now, I don't agree with any slowdown at all. But this is creating a lot of stress on the pilot group and I think it's great advise to be careful and not let this effect safety.

This isn’t a rhetorical question. I’m curious, in your opinion how long should we hold on to the belief that if we are really nice and do as we are directed we can eventually plan on the NMB’s benevolence and be granted adequate leverage to actually negotiate a deal?

Do your research. It’s not just about that. It’s also about not giving these turds the ability to sue our union and take all of their money (OUR money) and assets and effectively dissolve them, as has been done to unions in the past.

Don’t give this scum ANY ammo against us. They’ve clearly demonstrated that they actively enjoy taking every shot they can get at us.
