Management troll. Where/who did you take your lessons from? Why don’t you just come out and ask for a TRO? It’d be a lot quicker than your transparent “Guys, let’s burn the house down!” strategy.

Man do I hope they call you for the survey. All of our asks and capitulations were designed to get a quick deal. That didn’t happen, and now we are stalled by the NMBs inaction. After reading JetBlue’s reserve highlights that someone just posted on their forum, it seems there was a lot of thought put into it. Not saying it’s great, but ours remains basically unchanged. What this shows is we still have a lot left on the table and now is the time to let the MEC and NC know where you stand. Go to the PUB events, tell them what you want. Prepare to answer the survey intelligently. Think Pay, Retirement, Scope, LTD, per diem, Vac/sick time, reserve, hotels, deadheads, duty rig, daily min, trip rig overrides, everything and anything you can think of. I think it’s great they decided to do another survey. Let’s get it right and maybe the NC can start pulling stuff off the table that is unsatisfactory now since we’ve been negotiating for so long.

I find it ironic that the email points to more dropped trips than this time last year. However, I know of many captains that drop trips in anticipation of incentivised ones later. Why do an 18 hour 4 day, when you can pick up a 30 hour 2 day? So.....who is to blame for that?
