At NJA it tends to depend on what airplane you are on. The union posted some stats broke down by fleet. The X flies the most with an average of just over 4 hours of flight per duty day- those guys are probably between 700 and 800 per year (with some probably closer to 1000). The Hawker 400 is flying the least at an average of a little under 2 hours of flying per duty day- probably averaging between 250 and 350 per year. I'm on the Excel/ XLS and I've averaged about 50 hours per month since I've been online.

Bad info. I have been on the X for 5 years and avg 400 hours per year. I know there are some "privileged" guys that fly more, but most of us are below 500/yr.

nice avatar NJA Capt, so with the X you guys ever fly to europe? Does NJA only fly in America? Does NJI handle all the international flights? Or does it just mean, at NJA your living in America but sometimes do international flights.

All divisions of NetJets do international flying. It is not only the Gulfstreams. The Citation X, Falcon 2000, G200, and BBJ do their share of pond hopping too.

That's pretty cool. How fast does the X make trips across the pond? .92 the whole way? or is the high speed cruise not used on long trips?
Nice pics, it sure is a sexy bird.

I would think customer service skills and/or previous flying jobs where you were in direct contact with pax (charter, corporate).

Anything else NJA cpt?

I would bet that first and foremost - Internal Recommendations will land you an interview more than anything else.

Turbine time and international operations experience also come to mind.
