I think I can make it work if I were fortunate enough to not only get an interview, but be hired. My kids have to finish high school before the wife will move, but we have had to live apart before (I did a year in Qatar for the USAF). I have family in the KC area that I can stay with when working or on call. I know you are busy so I appreciate any/all info. Is there any possibility of grouping days off to do 24/6 or is it only 12/3. Also, when are you looking for folks to start? My availability is 21 October due to my military retirement. Thanks again. -rmr
All kidding aside, QOL is very good for me. Lots of nights at home, good equipment, great people.

TEBA......is that you?
I was in the same situation. I lived 3 hours away when I got hired at EAS. I'm married with three kids. We decided to sacrifice and stay apart for the first few months until school was out for the summer. I stayed with family during my 12 days on and went home for my 3 off. In my opinion, EAS is worth it. I've been around the 91 and 135 block a bit and can say that I've never worked for a better company, top to bottom. Management cares about everyone, an absolutely great pilot group. I haven't met another pilot that I didn't enjoy flying with. Of course, I haven't flown with RI380 yet

I am pretty sure I would like to apply, sounds like a great company and I think I can make it work. I have to discuss with my wife first (she is out of town on business) and if we are willing to go all in, I will apply, if not then I will wait until we can relocate. TY, all for the info and advice. -rmr

Great job with that big post RI830. You should probably put the permalink to it in your signature! I actually started drafting a profile after bringing it up, but I'm a little distracted trying to get organized for my upcoming move!
