Im looking at EAS as a potential career move. I live in the KC area and was wondering how hard of base it is to get. Also does EAS hire many regional airline guys. I have been working at SkyWest for 7 yrs and im really wanting something closer to home. I have TPIC time in the EMB-120.
Thanks

Having been at SKW for 10 yrs, then WOA for 4, I can tell you it is possible!
I have been here for 1 yr and am having a great time.
I believe we are actively interviewing for KC but not 100 % sure.
Submit you app online, bring you 'A' game to the interview.
Best of luck to you!

We have extensively vet regional airline pilots such as yourself! Having been one of those so called regional pilots....I know where your coming from!
all kidding aside, we do not use seniority to determine bases. If you live in KC, we will interview you for KC. There is no way that an EAS pilot could be displaced from his/her base like the airlines will do to you.
Get your app in asap and pm me for contact info.
ps....don't listen to dirtjunky.....he's a worthless employee!

It is for the full amount of the training cost and is prorated on a daily basis.
The reason for this is to have a future or current employee willing to commit at least one year to EAS. If you can't say that you will be here for at least a year, then your not the right guy for the job. With our current pilots, if they are not willing to re-up for a year...that's fine....the next guy will go to training and he or she can advise if or when they are willing to commit and then we can send them to training upon the next open position.
