Well, I just got done with an interview with EAS in MKC. Keeping my fingers crossed! I got to meet with RI, his boss, and a very nice HR rep. Like it's been said before, they go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. Very professional, and fun group of people. The interview process is very simple. Just a get to know you type of thing, plus the written exam. And a nice box lunch social at the end. The gouge RI posted on the second page I believe, is pretty spot on what the written test covers. Basic approach plate/airspace questions, some altimeter setting stuff. Anyone who's pretty fresh should be fine on it. I was scratching my head on several of them though, since it's been more years than I'd care to admit that I've had to think about things like that. I know I'd be happy to hang my hat with them. Thanks for the hospitality EAS! And remember RI, that golf lesson offer still applies! Though I really think after talking with you, I don't think I'll be playing for any benjamins, unless you give me some strokes.

By looking at your profile, I am thinking you might be overqualified for Executive AirShare. I would enjoy your weekends off, because if you get hired that will be the end of them. Your golf game is also going to be well over par. Good luck in your job endeavors!

Not to be bragging, but I think I'm probably "overqualified" for about anything out there anymore. (I keed, I keed) My golf game is well over par right now anyway given my current situation, so nothing to lose there. I like the people I've met at EAS. They have good equipment with a fair pay rate for the a/c, with a schedule, (I know, you think it's terrible) vacation/sick days, health package, and a 401k. I did the 121 Big Iron thing for a long time, and I've found I'm actually enjoying flying again in the smaller bizjets flying to different destinations with folks that haven't been burned out and have enthusiasm. It's good for the soul. So, I'm hoping these folks will let me come hang out with them.

Do you currently or have you ever worked for EAS?

I see where you are going with this question. RI830 (AKA Executive AirShare Cheerleader) is going to tell everyone that EAS is wonderful company. Blah Blah Blah Here is my question to you. How many of your pilots are leaving for better schedules???
#628
My question to you is.....if you have never worked for EAS, then what quals you to speak of our schedule? Also, if you have never worked for EAS....why are you trolling this thread?
I find it interesting that people who no longer work here or have never worked here will troll and bash the company, especially over issues that have been addressed or are being addressed.
We are the ONLY fractional who is making money, hiring pilots and taking airplanes. We are by no means perfect and we strive to fix our problems. It truly baffles me why people think that extraordinary high pay and low work will last.

I have worked less than 16 days per month for the past 9 months.
Just because it wasn't for you, doesn't mean that the positive changes and effort that those that are there now are putting forth isn't for them. You should be considerate enough to others to allow positive, or constructive negative conversation continue.
Thank you!

It would be a more accurate comparison to look at EAS on the same footing as other jobs at the same level. Within the niche that EAS occupies, it seems to be a good job with fair wages, benefits, nice aircraft, and a QOL that many enjoy.
Why don't you just clear the air and tell the forum, in plain language, what your beef with EAS entails.
