I went and interviewed about 18 months ago. Seemed like a top notch operation. Everybody I talked to was very positive. I have heard nothing but good things, would love to join the frey. If anybody has any new information, I'm all ears.

I have not heard of anyone getting and interview more less an offer from a major. I could be wrong though.
The last few destinations I know of were 91 gigs or CAE.
The sked is not for everyone. I always told people that you will work hard but you will have fun and not worry about job security. A change to the sked would be very beneficial, but I am unaware of any talks to make that happen.
People will always be dramatic and over state the "number of people leaving".
The EAS pilot group has from 55 pilots when I was hired 2 yrs ago to 80+ pilots now.

It is 70 now and declining. And people are leaving because the schedule and duties are very demanding. If you work here for a year, your friends will quit calling because they get tired of hearing you aren't in town. Most are leaving for lower paying jobs because they want to escape the chronic fatigue.
The pilot group is still 80+. The Sked is pretty demanding, I heard October was a record month for EAS. The hiring has to continue and even ramp up to accommodate for that record business.
I know that people are unhappy about being busy, but what will they say when they are commuting to LGA, EWR, MIA or DCA for reserve and spending less time at home than now?
Best to weigh all side of the issue and make educated decisions on their careers.

The Jabara incident was not brake related. I can not and will not disclose any info on that without the permission of EAS management.
I would expect any other EAS employees to follow that as well.
Data will be available sometime. In this day of Freedom of Information, nothing can hide for too long.

They're 15/3 right now, but yep, they're flying a lot right now. My friends say they're still averaging near 25 or so days right now. DO and CP positions have changed hands and it sounds like morale is improving. If they can get pilots hired and do something about the schedule then it's a nice job with a lot of great pilots to work with. Definitely had some fun times there.
If he could afford to go back to regionals, he would, but kids and rent and life doesn't allow for it. Great pilots yes, time home with family, no. I was a pilot myself, I gave it up to be with family. Much more important than a cockpit. Until management understands their pilots are humans, with families that miss them, then it's no place to be since there is no union to protect the pilots rights and humanity.

I'm the wife of an EAS pilot. He's home 1-2 nights a month, gets his hard days off moved around, denied overtime, denied vacation requests, drives and drives and drives to different bases.
