Has there been any discussion at EAS about expanding further North in the midwest region, i.e. IA, MN, Dakotas? Minneapolis base maybe??

No movement that direction at this time. Lincoln/Omaha could maybe be a possibility down the road, but nothing too soon.

Would 1000TT (600 heavy, C-17), 300 PIC, mostly military time be competitive enough to earn me an interview at EAS?

Mustangcbra,

Currently we don't interview unless the candidate is qualified, meaning meets our minimum flight times. But, keep us updated on your progress!

Thanks,

BP

Mustang,

EAS does unfortunately have hard mins of 1500TT for SIC spots.
There also are hard mins for a PIC hire.
It's not that a guy is "unqualified", they just have to set a number somewhere and lots of times insurance dictates that.

By the way, BP51 is a great guy. I have had the displeasure of flying with him in the past!
He is a great resource here on the thread for all things EAS.
