then "tak" it on board. I am sorry, I just could not resist.

Does the grammar police lose all credibility when they themselves misspell? Talk about calling the kettle black....

You have the option of editing your post for a length of time after you post it.

And it's "hurts one's credibilty...." Consider your credibilty hurt

The marine has a good point. Granted, everyone makes a mistake every now and then, but doing it regularly or multiple times in one post does affect one's credibility. Using spellcheck and reading what you wrote before clicking post is not hard.

This doesn't apply to you; an assumption from the chick-fly avatar, but there are apparently lots of anatomically short pilots out there, or so I've heard, some kind of reverse correlation with big watches. It rarely seems to hold them back, in fact to the contrary; many become chief pilots.

No. Never.

I do think if someone is going to be a professional pilot they should be able to correctly spell the parts of the plane.

I'm pretty sure they know how to spell "brakes". Leave it to some pilots to feel the need to point out a mistake. (on an anonymuous msg. board only really read by pilots)

You'll be fine, plenty of adjustments in modern aircraft.

Nobody pointed out this hybrid word... It looks like a combination of past and present tense!
