They've already made several attempts to set-up checkpoints at GA facilities. So far, ALL attempts have been squashed. You would be amazed at the level of political power many of the folks we fly around posess.....

TSA scares me more than than a double dip recession... they could do a lot of damage to corporate flying.

But how is it going to work??? VNY and PBI have 8-9 FBOs, HPN and TEB have 10+. What are they going to do, install a screening machine at every FBO on the field???

I can see it now, TSA setting up their little car-wash thing at Pepsi's hangr to screen pepsi's employees about to board a pepsi owned challenger... Pepsi's CEO Mrs. Indra Nooyi would probably say "OH HELL NO"

Clearly neither of you have been to KBOS lately. They have had security for close to three years at Signature.

Homeland Security, the overseer of the TSA, is already at Wal Mart. Seriously. They have a program in 2700 or so Wal Marts that if any one sees anything suspicious they are encouraged to inform that stores general manager, who has received training from Homeland Security. Essentially Homeland Security has deputized Wal Mart GM's. This was reported on the CBC radio network (Canadian Broadcasting Company) in mid December. Funny, no mention of it in the US press/media.

The screening at Signature KBOS has nothing to do with the TSA. That is all Massport's doing. And, they have been doing that for way more than 3 years. That crap started shortly after 9-11. If Massport had half of the authority that the TSA has, we'd all wish for the TSA.

Perhaps this will help and what could be suspicious at a Wal Mart ?
TSA and Janet Napolitano greet shoppers at Wal-Mart - National Airlines/Airport | Examiner.com
Wonder if Target will join in on this ?
