I thought he was a pretty "stand-up" guy. He did a lot of things to revamp and bring our training department into the 21st century. We never had AQP here until his arrival.
Other pilots I've spoken to have a different opinion, but personally I was disappointed he made the decision to leave.
Lazyb757 is right... you should ask the USAirways pilots since he spent a much longer period of time with them than he did with NetJets.

Thanks for the info
Wow....nice change to hear something good to hear about someone.
I was hoping to hear something from NetJetsWife! Seems like there was always posts by here on that "other place"

I ran into Jim early after the merger and was immediately impressed with him. Focused, hard working and not given to playing games. At that time he was running one part of the check airman training program and you could tell he was passionate about working for the line guys.
I was in CMH a while back after he had gone to NJs and talked with him. Again, his focus was how to do the job better and he was still a strong advocate for the line pilot. And as we walked around the NJ offices, he was greeted by many with smiles. It seemed evident that he was well liked.
Long story short.. he knows what he is doing, he knows AQP and he is an asset to any company. And GOOD FOR HIM!
