!7 Years in 125-1AF, 700, and 3 different 800's flying and maintaining them.
They are very maintenance intensive as they get older. No baggage, main gear shimmy are some of the major unresolved problems. Nice to fly and built like a tank are the good points. Look at a Sovereign on a MSG maintenance
schedule with a total of 160 items on a full cycle, over 600 items on a Hawker. I think you can only hang new engines on for so long before the market will completely go away.

Hey thanks to all the replies. My buyer asked at last minute to look into the Hawker 850 and I admit I know nothing about them. After 5 months of planning and research and coming to agreement with the buyer given his parameters for expenses---the Citation Excel was a great fit. So when he called the other day and wanted info on the 850 I was shocked for many reasons. Long story short we went back and discussed the actual needs for his aircraft and came to agree the Excel was stiil the right aircraft for his needs. Our broker is submitting bids on 2 aircraft in the morning ---wish us luck!!!!!
