I agree 100% with you! Have some respect. Do you know whats worse...

Man, I'm bummed. I went to all that effort to find those great statistics and no one commented on them!

(I agree, title is misleading. But I bet it increased the number of hits.)

The title is simply sensationalism. Anyone who sees it thinks "OMG!" and has to drill down into the thread to quickly figure out it's crap. The casual observer may just see the thread title and move on and then spread the news.

It's a lowly tactic to scream something provoking and false to drag attention to some silliness you want to share with the world. It'd be like going to a movie theater and shouting, "FIRE!....is dangerous. Ya'll want to buy some water?"

Assuming you mean luxury as relaxation rather than luxury as an advantage over the competition, then this is not a true statement. Pretty much every fractional pilot will tell you, the majority of our work is business travel. These people are working in the back. Laptops on, papers everywhere, some using the phone, and often eating while they work. These people do not have the time to be wasting with 2 hr shows, 3 hr connections with the airlines. 50% of our business is publicly traded companies, 25% private companies, and 25% true luxury travel.

Plus our passengers are better looking than yours. As the wealthy tend to have a better skin care regimen and better hair stylists.

No worries Navajo, I found your post very enlightening. Thanks for looking up that info

I will say that the number of SL tail numbers coming in and out of my airport has slowed quite a bit since about September, you used to be able to count on one or two a day, I've only seen one in about 3 months. Maybe just the season, maybe people are going somewhere else, who knows.

I assure you that all of us fracs have slowed down quite a bit. You might be seeing an additional slowdown if your airport is a seasonal destination (Hyannis, Bar Harbor, etc.), just as Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale are getting slammed this time of year.
Winter is generally the busier time for Flex and NJA, not sure if it is also true for Avantair, but I would suspect it is.
