Get twin-turbine PIC time the quickest route you can, it will help you out in the end and give you more options.

Have you tried Great Lakes? See if you can get a street capt gig over there, low pay, but the time is valuable. A friend of mine flew 1900s, then EMB120, now he's flying a 747-200 over the pond in the right seat.

Then why not go find a corporate job? That is more the type of CS you need. Find a King Air or Citation job, I don't know much about them but a place like Georgia Jet would be good, you'd get the same type of customer service that you would use at NJA and still build time quickly.

I have a similar question about netjets. I just left a regional for a corporate king air pic position where we also use it for 135 charter. I have about 2600 hrs tt, looks like we'll fly the king air about 500 hours over the next year. I have some customer service experience in the past and I'm also pretty young (24). Does all this seem like it would make a me a good netjets candidate say, 1 year from now? I know things can change in a year but lets just say if their hiring practices remain similar to what they are now. Thanks in advance.

For what its worth I am at CapeAir and a few guys are getting phone interviews with NJ with no Turbine time. They are all pretty recent and as far as I know nobody has heard good/bad yet.

If you have the minimums for NJ apply now, don't wait, is not about your thousands of hours is about your personality and people skills, don't disqualified yourself let NJ make the decision, you'll be surprised.
In one class you'll find from the 2500 hrs part 135 night freight guy to the 30,000 hrs retired Airline Captain, so is not about the hrs.

I agree with triflyier. You don't know unless you apply and the worst they can say is no. You may not get a call if you've gotten all of your time in a C172, but if you have some good quality time, all you need is the minimums...along with the people skills.
