$51, really?

Is it that big of a status symbol?

$61 now. Can't believe anyone would pay that.

I'm mortified that anyone would hawk something that was received as a gift.

While I agree you should probably not put a gift on ebay. But, if this thing goes for over $100, I might be able to part with one of the six considering I don't wear hats, and pink is not really my color. This isn't my auction though.

Naw, wasn't suggesting it's yours; that was just a generate statement. I just think it's really low-class to auction off something you got as a gift, whoever's doing it. I don't wear hats either, but others in my circle of friends and family do. That's what I did with mine.

I don't know for sure -- I suppose it's possible it was obtained another way. However, it just seems more than a little suspicious to me that this would show up on eBay only a couple of weeks after all the NetJets pilots each got a half a dozen hats and visors as gifts from MarquisJet's founder.

Only the auctioneer knows for sure...

Kinda agree with that, did some side work as an artist in highschool, was selling prints of automobile drawings i'd done, and I provided a 1 out of 10 print to one of the venders i was selling through with his dealership in the background as a sign of good faith for our future dealings.

Came to the dealership for one of my checks, only to find my drawing not only on the wall, but equipped with a $250.00 price tag, for drawings normally being sold for $25.00-$40.00......That was the end of that business dealing.

the things that people do for money.

I hope an employee gave that to someone else, and that someone else is selling that thing. If the employee is the one trying to sell it, I HOPE THE COMPANY FINDS OUT WHO YOU ARE, you low life

I'm not a company guy or anything like that, but that's not cool.
