Couple of Avantair Questions
#13
Out of curiosity, what does that first paycheck look like after training? Is it just the total of the $48 per day per diem from the three week training period, or is it your normal salary pay? Anyone care to share how much they got. I'm still trying to decide if I should apply or not, a month with no pay sounds tough right now.
If you leave your current job and head directly into training then you should have a paycheck when you leave and then a pay check three weeks later after your training. At most you'll have to stretch the final paycheck from your current job for one or two weeks.
I think the risk of having to stretch a dollar or two would be well worth the rewards of employment with a young, yet established and successful company.

I think I understand this statement. EVERY other frac pays you from day one. Even flops. In fact when I was hired at Raytheon Travel Air back in 2001, they paid me for three months while waiting for my class date.

yes, you can pick up an extra day and fly 8 days instead of 7
paid 150% fo PAY - works out to be about $280 per extra day of flying
if you fly two extra days a month - would be about an extra 6K added on to the $35000 base pay
but 7 day trips are long and tough - 8 days even more so
