Up to almost 6 months with over 6k jet pic and a GIII type (current job). Kills me when I hear about a 1 month story. I'll just wait and see.

figure 10 guys at the interview.......

at least 300 per plane ticket times 10.......$3000
maybe 200 for hotel room times 10 ...........$2000
time taken away from employees to interview us.......$thousands?

Thanks Bloodhound,

What I didn't make clear in that last post was that although the last LOR was sent a few weeks ago, my app has been on file since last November. Some guys who applied long after me have gotten interviews already. I'm not sure if they ever go backwards in the stack to grant people interviews but I sure hope so.

I'll still be patient though. I really want a career at NJ!

Just wondering how much the contents of the cover letter is factoring in to getting an interview.

I didn't even have one and got an interview. Not trying to rub it in. Just trying to show people I don't believe there is one singular thing that affects you getting an interview except for maybe meeting the mins.

it took me 5 months to get an interview prior the ibt agreement, and i had 3100TT, 2700 turboprop, 700 tt pic. They look at people who meet the mins, but you have to really stand out somehow for them to hire you with the mins

Well my ticket was 1500 bucks and you are about right on with the hotel rooms. I guess if you want to help a company out CS lets you pay for your own interview. It is not cheap to fly to HPN and then the Renaissance is 169 a night. I have never been treated as well as I was at my NJ interview. First class all the way.
