Just an update in keeping with the thread's title. It took me from the first week in January to the last week in April from app. to interview.
In the spirit of update, the old simulator is gone, and it is very important to be a good, honest man/woman of morals and values. I love this place. I want to work there very badly. I am pleased with my interview process, and am waiting for the results...

KDub, thx for keeping it in perspective... I saw Triumphs post and was\am beginning to get worried about my late Feb application. I got the app received email in late April so hopefully the stars will align for an interview offer soon... this job market is looking real hard to enter right now~ It's almost making the constant deployments to the mideast seem like the safe choice!

I just got the invite last week almost 3 months to the day that it was received. It looks from the outside to be random who gets called when but I'd suspect there is method to the madness. Two hours is crazy. That almost seems like a mistake... a good mistake that all wish happened to us. I'm heading to CMH on the 12th.

Did you get an invite 3 months after the app received email or 3 months after they got it in the mail\email?

In recurrent a couple of months ago the new head of training said he wanted to get rid of the sim ride on the interview, but that he didn't see it going away all that soon- change doesn't happen at warp speed at NJA.
