What would a new hire at NJ expect to make?
I know the base is 69k, but would one expect the W2 to say for first year?
Also, i believe medical/dental is 100% paid by the company.....is that right?

Expect somewhere around 10 percent above base salary. Medical, dental, and vision are all paid by the company. They also provide loss of medical insurance, short and long term disability, and a small life insurance policy for free. 50 percent match on your 401k. Around 6k on perdiem that while it isn't really salary, it is mostly gravy since you will only buy one or two meals per tour.

Are you serious? I have no interest in working for a company (VA) that continues to lower the bar in this industry. I make more money in the RJ than a VA captain does in a 320. I also have to wonder about the stability there. Go to NJA, at least that's what I'd do.
