I am hoping someone can clarify when exactly the 1.2 total time conversion factor for military time should be applied - prior to submission of the application packet, resume, and cover letter or not? I am unclear about this because many have quoted the auto-response email from NetJets that authorizes the factor only AFTER they have already submitted their application. If the factor is allowed in advance, then upon reaching 2100TT (no factor applied) it would be safe to submit an application without risk of being rejected? I wonder why NetJets doesn't explain/advertise this a little better? I have looked hard to find any mention of the factor by NetJets, but were it not for this forum I'd be at a dead end. Thanks.

The way I see it, Net Jets is giving military pilots the opportunity to applied to them, using their 1.2 X TOTAL military time as a way of giving 8 to 10 years guys a chance of meeting their minimums.

C26driver,
Thanks. Sounds reasonable to me. I'll take any help I can get. I suppose then that applying the correction upon initial submission of the resume and application is acceptable? Just seems odd to me that the 1.2 factor is not better advertised by NetJets on their website or the downloadable application. What is the big secret? Then again, I am new to this whole process and am by no means an expert......
