NJA Application Process Rumor

NJA Application Process Rumor
I'm hearing a rumor from the union message board that applicants sending resumes to NJA are just now starting to receive letters stating something to the effect that NJA is no longer accepting resumes due to the large number already on file. Try back in 90 days, blah, blah blah...
Can anyone substantiate this rumor?
BTW, yes, I work there. And no, they don't tell us anything specific about what's going on with hiring.

I just applied online less than a week ago and received a email today which says they are filling interview slots for postions open from the application pool. Essentially it says they received my cover letter and attached resume and summarized their qualifications as well as the nature of the interview. It also says they will keep the resume on file for 3 months, after that you have to send a email requesting to update your resume, so no, I don't think the rumor is true.

I emailed a resume back at the end of august and never heard anything outside of the email. I sent a resume and cover letter a week and a half ago via US Mail, and recieved the app packet yesterday. I have heard that things are going to slow down with the hiring, so I'm trying to get everything in asap. Although with all the airplanes they have on order, I imagine it couldn't slow down too much.

My Appologies
Looks like this rumor is not true. After doing some checking, it appears someone was paraphrasing their e-mail from pilot recruiting and got the intent wrong.
Sorry if I made anyone getting ready to submit a resume crap themselves.
I did find out that resumes are rolling in at about 3x the normal rate, with over 100 processed yesterday alone.

That's actually an interesting piece of info about the 3 month limit. I e-mailed Derinda about a week ago and asked her how long the apps were kept on file, to which she replied indefinitely. But I didn't think to ask about the situation where they don't send you an app right away. Thanks for the info.

Now the waiting begins....hopefully it wont be too long as I didnt rule out any of the current bases.

Hey just got the app accepted email(exactly two weeks after they received it), and it states the app will be kept on file for 11 months, after which you have to use an update form, which they sent in the email, to keep the app current.
Now the waiting begins....hopefully it wont be too long as I didnt rule out any of the current bases.
