Default Netjets pay

What is up with the top pay for NetJets? How many guys get $229,850/yr to sit reserve on a BBJ. Are they now considered the highest paid 737 pilots in the nation? Or, is this level of pay reserved for one or two top seniority pilots also know as cronies?

mike734,

Cat 4 an 5 pay is time in seat. So Cat 4 is new you need to look at year 1 . Cat 5 BBJ pay has been on going since 2001 approx. This should help.

Have A Happy.

Dude,

I explained on my previous post, I will dumb it down for ya....hang on though. No one is at the top of the pay scale in the BBJ (Cat5) pay. Why? Simple. Cat 5 pay is time in SEAT. The BBJ has only been here since 2001. Most senior pilot is now at year 5.
I hope I didn't type too fast for ya. WTF?

Have A Happy.

P.S. If you don't understand the difference in time in seat vs time with company. I suggest asking an adult. I am through with this post.

Before you go, oh great professor, then exactly how much are the top BBJ CAs making there now? How long does it take to make BBJ CA? When exactly will the current CAs switch to "Cat 5" pay? Do they still have contract pilots for the BBJ?

I know, I know, I didn't write in your really cool netjetese. Hopefully, though, you can help a brutha out and come down to my simple, albeit pathetic, level for just a moment or two before you climb back into your really cool Ultra.

Respectfully,

JayDub

yes, for all our benefits can you possibly explain what the difference between cat4 and cat5 pay is? And before you say "time in seat", realize that you have failed to define HOW MUCH TIME IN SEAT is required to make cat5. Hope to never fly with you, seeing as how you cannot hanlde the stress of someone asking a simple question. I can;t imagine how it must be to fly with you if something really bad happens, like a maint. delay, or even a real scary diversion.
