Corporate Flying for FedEx?
Someone had mentioned a while back something about corporate flying for FedEx.......... just wondering what the corporate flying is like for them? Pay? QOL? What the requirements are? When and if they will be hiring?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I know they have a few Lears and some Challengers. The requirements are the same as for the guys flying the boxes. Their website lists those requirements. After you do your time on the corporate side (2 or 3 years can't remember), you have the option to move over to the "other side". From what I understand, not many people choose to use that option because they like the schedule of the corporate side... hope this helps some

From what I understand, salary is individually negotiated based on experience. (IE no contract). However I would surmise that they probably fall in line with what is considered industry norm for corporate captains.
That would roughly put Lear 45 pay between 65-105, Challenger pay between 70 and 135-140, and Global pay between 95-170 for captain qualified individuals.

Had a conversation with one of their captains for an hour or so in Texas a few weeks ago. He said the interview process was identical to the cargo interview, and, at the time he was offered the corporate side because they did not have any classes for the cargo side in the near future. He is a captain on both the lear and the challenger, I wouldn't ask for specifics, but he did mention that the pay was more than fair, and not as much as the guys flying boxes. He said he loved the job and the schedule was great. Most of the other talk was non-flying so that's all I've got for ya.
