Unfortunately, you're right. It's a great place and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, but the compensation is severely lacking.

Severely lacking compared to what? Which PC12 operators have higher compensation? I'm genuinely curious.

What is the lowest tt that you have heard of someone actually getting hired with.

I wasn't speaking specifically to PC12 operators. I was speaking across the fractionals. Being a 2nd yr FO pulling in under 55K on the -12 while a 2nd yr FO at a competitor will be making over 85K, easily.

Soft pay and benefits just got recent bumps at PS, which adds to the whole picture too. I was just mentioning straight pay. As always, it's a great place and I'll recommend it to anyone interested in that style of ops.

The compensation for someone with ~1000 hours is decent. Lots of worse places to build time to ATP mins so you can go to the airlines.

500 hours, not sure if that's possible right now though. Never hurts to try!

Respectively, I disagree. Your comparison is apples to oranges. You can't compare starting pay in a PC12, to starting pay in a jet. Of course the pay is going to be better in a jet. For somebody that has the time, that's probably a better way to go. The true comparison at that level would be 2nd year FO in the PC24 vs other operators. PS just happens to have a niche category below that, that unfortunately doesn't command as high of a salary. Unfortunately, the current PS flow is PC12 to PC24.

Who knows, this pilot market anything could happen. It would be cool if PS couldn't keep up with flow to the jet and went DEC straight into the PC24! I might jump on that!

I got you. I agree with your point. It's solid PC-12 pay for the gig that it is and for younger pilots. I was too broad brush just using pay in general across the fractionals.

I heard they recently hired someone with 700 hours, but that person knew a Plane Sense pilot. All the classes this year everyone had at least 900 hours
