There are still some Part 134 1/2 operations out there, but long gone are the illegal, pirate, “do-it-or-you’re-fired-because-pilots-are-a-dime-a-dozen” operators of the 1990’s, thanks to the pilot shortage killing them off. I’m not sure about Jet-It, with their good looking Honda Jets, but the negative description above doesn’t fit most quality and established Part 135 Operators like WUP, flyExclusive, etc., nor the Part 91K Fractionals like NetJets, XOJET, FlexJet, or PlaneSense.
As a former jetit pilot, all the classic garbage 135 applies. Except the do it or your fired. But extended days switching to pt91, etc all happened.

There is small operators, small in number of planes, who do operate by pushing pilots beyond limits. They run their crews hard each day and the last day. These same pilots won't get home on their last day and no $$$ penalty by the company. Some require the pilots to work their own hotels, planning, travel and food.
Just ask around to fellow pilots in FOBs or other places like in hotel lobbies.

If you are jumping into jobs to build time and don't care about the QOL on the road then go for it. But buyer beware...

Yes
I was there briefly. I was glad to have a job at the time. But when I was recalled I was thrilled to leave it in the rearview. I had never worked that hard in my career. My first 135 job a decade ago which was a slimy south Florida outfit was somehow less slimy.

Honestly the worse job I have had in and out of aviation. The phenom is not on property yet, so either bait and switch they tell you it's coming fly this for now or you pass other pilots to take it from them. When the next new plane comes and instead of offering it to you they hire a new go and tell you to stick the the phenom that's how it gone in the past. Go somewhere else.

Default Work hard play hard.

There’s a lot of whiners on this forum for sure. Sure you’ll work hard here. But then you play hard on the other side. Go get that $100 steak with the card afterwards.
Ya work over 12 hours of duty it’s $200 each time. Fly over 75 flight hours a month is $100 a flight hour beyond that. And other bonuses and stuff. Phenom captains start at 135k with a 30k bonus, Honda captains are 115k same bonus. Honda FOs are 65k same bonus. Phenom FOs are 85k and bonus.
Upgrades are sub twelve months, ATP/CTP Reimbursement. Company cards for everything, keep your points.
Everyone who’s been here a year has ambassador status with Marriott it seems like. You get a rental whenever you ask for it. We also have a crew concierge team to get you crew meals, etc. feel free to message me if you’d like to find out more.

Someone is a little salty. No bait and switch. Company has improved leaps and bounds since getting rid of the old CP. it’s hard work but they make it very clear what you’re getting in to ahead of time.

Unfortunately the new chief pilot is a clown with no experience. He wouldn’t be able to manage a shack let alone a flight department. The only reason he got to where he is is by caressing the balls of upper management. Jet it has no standards whatsoever.

Jet it is a new company with leaders that have no leadership experience.
