All of those numbers above are working less days than anyone on the CC76.
LAS march captain hard lines 15.08 days off, few months ago I counted 14.6 days off. I have never seen close to 16 day off average.

Getting hired at NJ isn't that easy. I bailed in 2015 after 14.5 years. I was PIC pretty much the entire time. Questions PM me.

As someone with experience in 91, 135, and 121, I would honestly say neither. Gone for 2 weeks straight sounds like hell to me. Especially since it's most likely a 15/13 schedule, which means you've guaranteed that you will be away from home for over half the month.

NetJets is a great company, but it will never again be a great company to be a pilot for. Some of that is simple economics and some of that is the constant negativity of the pilot group (whether deserved or not).

Question Would love updated follow up

As a follow up to QOL of the Fractionals. Any gouge on Nicholasair? I saw a thread about logging Pic/Sic time that got way into the weeds..are they even in the discussion compared to NJT, GAMA/WU, XO and Flex. I am not very familiar and trying to learn if there are worth pursuing. Very nice on the phone but some of the older threads discussed growing pains and aggressive management.

Would love to hear from those of you working for these companies how to rate them.

Thank you!

I have found NJA to be pretty relaxing so far, spent less than $25 on my last tour and had some fun in the islands all on the company, much less stressful than the 121 I came from where I commuted to Newark, you sit at the FBO watching netflix on occasion but when you tire of it call and they usually send you to hotel or you fatigue without issues. Different life than the 121 world, we get limo's, keep all points, get a few first class upgrades, and can write off a ton of tips and get free food etc, much different than the commute and cheap airport food at UAL I felt with, but its all what you want.

Well to be honest he might have been age 65 and was forced to leave a major. Lots of retreads at NJA.

Now if he was not age 65 he has to be one of the only ones to leave a major on his own and go to NJA. In 12 years I never once met a former airline guy that volunteered to leave to come to NJA. Lots of furlough guys and retreads, not one decided to leave a major for humping bags for Thurston and Lovie....

Or he is talking about XpressJet.
