Dojet, as always, if you have a problem with the moderation at APC, feel free to speak with the admins, that's HSLD or Freight Dog. It doesn't belong at the forums.

As to getting hired at UPS, it's all a crap shoot. Had I not got hired at UPS, I'd more than likely got on at America West, Hawaiian, or Alaska (the places I had contacts). To this day, I'd still consider any of them worthy jobs.

As to getting hired at UPS today? Well, I think they would like my "attitude" just fine. I even volunteer to be on a committee at my union. As to my quals, well, it's funny how that all changes over time. I've been in the left seat a couple years and I'm still not sure I got that 1000 pic turbine. I bet I'm pretty close, though...

Pretty proud of yourself I see.

"No thanks, if it's too much trouble to explain to them what a commercial jet even is, I can't imagine how screwed up the rest of their operation is"
KAL right now is swamped with applicants with time in jets that don't need to be explained, I'm actually not surpriced that they don't know what a dojet is since a 737 is as small a contraption as they fly out here. I'm sure they will be fine without your application

Why don't you PM me an email address and I can just forward the monthly emails I get from them asking to update right to you. Save me the trouble of deleting them .

Just do the same that you do with all other automatic mass e-mails, just put them in your spam list. After all, a company that operates 777's with some of the highest salaries in the contract world doesn't deserve your premium dojet time, right ace?

Mod note:

Dojetdriver and Dominican - if you wish to continue with your spat - take it to the PMs. Enough with the sarcasm and "ace"s.

I'm complaining here on this message board to relate the experience I had with them.

And like I said, for being a moderator, thats kind of a sh1tty thing to say. I would think you're above that. I wonder if you applied with UPS in this current environment if you'd get hired considering the attitude you display on this board.

I NEVER said it wasn't a good job, just the way they recruit leaves something to be desired when supplied with a bunch of objective facts gleaned from a job application, then agreeing with what some other posters have said in this thread.

Not to state the obvious, but do you think they said your aircraft was not a commercial jet to get a reaction out of you? I think it worked.

Sorry taylorjets - entertaining in some high school sort of way no doubt, but we would like (and expect) a more professional approach at APC.

Too much flamebait and lack of respectable dialogue. Thread closed.

TOS excerpt:
