Cliff,
Have you tried calling crew yet? My understanding is they want a 737/320 or larger to be hired as a Capt. The jet command is required for the FO job, but can be anything...RJ, etc... Give Alan a call...he is very nice.

You might be over thinking all of this a little too much, put your application in man your times are good. Guys one thing that is very important is at the end of the application, the autobiographical section. I can't stress this enough "Don't leave this section unfilled" they are getting tons of app's from all over the world and with all kinds of experience and a 10,000 hour resume looks just like the next 10,000 hour resume (sorry to be blunt but that is the way it is) ANA hires PEOPLE, for what I have seen they do not give preference to the 767 drivers vs. 737 drivers or won't take the RJ guy if they have an Airbus guy available, that is just not the way they do it. How many 767/757/Airbus drivers are available right now? tons, the two F/O's going thru OJT right now in AJX are former RJ drivers. I interviewed with two other guys, a 747 classic captain from the US and a 737 captain from the EU and I was the only one hired that day.
Use the autobiographical section to spark their interest, I filled two pages and told them the story from the days as an airport rat when I was 9 up to the present day, use this section to raise your hand from the crowd and remember that ANA is still the way that airlines in the states used to be back in the day, it is a PILOT's airline and pilots are still hiring pilots. I'm a firm believer that they look at how much you like flying as much as how much you want to work here so let them know!
Good luck

Hi!
From what I understand, the JCAB just recently changed the requirement and now will ALLOW military time to count.
I read this on some message boards, and CREW has this information in bold on their website. You still WILL need at least 1000 hours of civilian jet time, but you can use your military fixed-wing time to reach 3000 hours of Total Time.
PARC:
I just talked to PARC, and they do not know this. They said they will check with ANA tommorrow (2.13.09) and try and clarify. PARC is now NOT allowing military time to be used, but they will probably change their policy soon.

Cliff...
did you send your stuff to crew? guess i am puzzled why you are trying to work with a leasing company that wont accept your times when there is one that will. also, i agree with the dominican....you interview with pilots! very nice guys, in my case somewhat old school in the way that they like to see PILOTS come thru the door...guys that like airplanes and the smell of jet fuel in the morning!

My understanding is that they are still planning on adding planes and pilots. Couple of reasons...1, they believe the economy will turn around sooner rather than later and they want to be positioned with capacity to take advantage of that when it does happen. 2, apparently many many japanese pilots at mainline ana are retiring in the next few years and they simply dont have enough to backfill them so they are hiring the expats to the 767 operations.
good luck...
