I applied with parc first (just before Thanksgiving) FO position. For two weeks tried to find out about family medical insurance in the US (BUPA does not cover). Then applied through crew. Second week of December spoke with Alan and had application submitted. The following week was told I had app in with both company's and had to pull one, I emailed parc and told them I was withdrawing because of the medical insurance. Got the call from crew on Dec 23rd to interview on Jan 9th. Unfortunately have to work my last trip before furlough that weekend. Am waiting to hear for reschedule, hopefully for the following week.

Did you have any internal recommendations?

Best wishes!

A question for anyone working for these airlines... I understand from several of these postings that an applicant's body mass index is important, but how to these airlines feel about applicants who wear glasses or contact lens? Thanks.

I recently was offered the March class. I wear glasses/contacts. If you look back on this thread, there is link for the requirements of the Japanese medical, it is very specific and detailed and you can take that information to your eye doctor and verify you fall in the parameters. Hope this helps.
