I myself don't trust the government, healthcare, sanitation, food, or environment in mainland China enough to go there unless it's a last resort. Current and future QOL are just my priorities over the big $$$,$$$ they throw at pilots to entice you to come there.

I humbly ask you to leave the forum if you are going to keep writing such negativity. The reason me, and I don't know how many more, don't like you at all is because apart from your comments, which don't help a bit, you start bashing people and people's comments. That's rude in case you did not know. The reason this forum exists, and is not yet full of garbage unlike pprune, is because it helps to make people's lives better on deciding whether to go or not by sharing opinions, critics, tales, and God knows what else. Dominican, has been apart from polite and kind to every single person in this forum and other forums... And even on email... A nice person willing to help whatever bit you might ask him. That's one personal reason why I treasure him.
I have been to Japan, and I was amazed at how people live there, and how nice they were to me. I remember flying as passenger and going aft of the aircraft to walk a bit, and after exhanging a few words with a flight attendant and letting her know I was a first officer from a 67, the chief flight attendant came to me hours later with a nice gift. The bag included an ANA playing card deck, chocolates, postal cards with ANAs fleet, and even a drawing of pikachu and some hiraganas saying enjoy your stay in Japan.
I will not go into details as far as my vacations went but they were fantastic and believe me, I'd go there in a blink of an eye.
I am not here to tell you: "have some manners mate!", apparently... You're a grown up and have manners blooming. Yet, I might have to think that twice since you keep saying: "oh, go your mummy...blah blah".
So far you make me think you are a waste of space and a life's error.
Bring greatness from your posts, and share how nice China is...
Make a change.

I don't even look at this Japan crap unless my name has been mentioned which today it was. That's great that you treasure Dom. I'm sure in his own way he has helped you as well as others.
But let's get some facts straight shall we? I posted the negative side of things because while you guys may have had a nice time dancing to the oldies in rappongi there were plenty of us that thought it was pure hell.
Would it be better for a guy to take this job and find out it's not all peaches and cream? Yes, I'm not going to blow sunshine off of anyone's ass manners or not I am straight to the point and will back it up anyway I have to.

Sorry if you felt I could have said things better. I'm not PC nor am I good at sugar coating. I will gladly and have said in the past the negative things about China as well.
