Ran across this on world aviation service's website. I don't know anything about WASINC or Chinese regs but thought I'd share. Low time CFI job in China, but what's this about "licence conversion period pay?" Keep in mind it is a FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR job in a country on the other side of the world, etc, which I'm sure you took into account (right?). I have Filipino blood and I don't think I could prepare myself for this -- but who knows, it could be fun! Heh? Heh..

CFI Positions in China:
WASINC Int'l is now recruiting Certified Flight Instructors for direct contract positons at the Kunpeng International Flight Academy in China.

Minimum Requirements:
• Hold Single-engine, Multi-engine CPL and IR Licenses
• Hold Single-engine, Multi-engine IR Instructor Licenses
• Hold First-class Airmen Medical Certificate
• Age not above 53
• Home Country must have diplomatic relations with People’s Republic of China
• No flight accident or incident records and no criminal records

Domicile:
Wuzhou City, China (Guangxi Province)

Minimum Guarantee: 70 Hours
Contract Term: 1 & 2 year contracts
Must be able to complete at least one contract prior to age 53

Compensation & Benefits:
There are 9 levels of Flight Instructor positions, each one compensated based on experience. Below is how each level is broken down and determined.

Flight Instructor 1
• Certified Pilot License + First Class Medical + Flight Instructor License
• Flight Time: Less than 500 Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $1,000 USD per month (gross)
• Flight Instructor Pay: $2,040 USD per month (up to 70 Hours)
• Overtime: $22 USD per hour over 70

Flight Instructor 2
• Certified Pilot License + First Class Medical + Flight Instructor License
• Flight Time: 500 - 1000 Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $1,500 USD per month (gross)
• Flight Instructor Pay: $2,230 USD per month (up to 70 Hours)
• Overtime: $24 USD per hour over 70

Flight Instructor 3
• Certified Pilot License + First Class Medical + Flight Instructor License
• Flight Time: 1000 - 1500 Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $1,500 USD per month (gross)
• Flight Instructor Pay: $2,705 USD per month (up to 70 Hours)
• Overtime: $29 USD per hour over 70

Flight Instructor 4
• CPL + FCM + Flight Instructor License (multi-engine time greater than 200)
• Flight Time: 1500 - 2000 Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $2,000 USD per month (gross)
• Flight Instructor Pay: $3,060 USD per month (up to 70 Hours)
• Overtime: $33 USD per hour over 70

Flight Instructor 5
• CPL + FCM + Flight Instructor License (multi-engine time greater than 200)
• Flight Time: 2000 - 2500 Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $2,000 USD per month (gross)

• Flight Time: 4000+ Hours
• License Conversion Period Pay: $2,000 USD per month (gross)
• Flight Instructor Pay: $4,010 USD per month (up to 70 Hours)
• Overtime: $43 USD per hour over 70

Additional Information:
• Living accommodations provided
• 15 days vacation per year, 8 days off per month
