Jet320,

Como Estas. I am married to a beautiful Costa Rican Girl. She has dual citizenship. We are both in the US Air Force. What are LACSA/TACA's time requirements? Do you fly for them? She knows Diego Castro and his dad, who use to fly for them. Costa Rica is pura vida!!!

BD.

Yeap I was FO for Cap Castro, and his son was my FO when I was in LACSA.
I flew for them for 14 years.

I was 11 years FO on A320 1 and Half on 737.

The pay in TACA/LACSA is way to lowwwwwww. I earned as Cap on A320 4500 USD. Now they increased the salary only 1000 bucks. Costa Rica is very expensive Country. I bought a bettle in 2002 it cost me 33,000 K, when in the USA, at the same time they where 15,000.

You are married with a Costa Rican so no problem, you will get the work permit you need.

I was offer the Emb 190, that they just bought, as Cap 4900K monthly.
If you want I can point you in the right direction.

Who do you fly for now? My mother-in-law still lives there, in Moravia. My wife grew up there for 20 years, then moved back to the states.

Before making the move to Costa Rica you will need to know your options getting a work permit/residency.

Hello,

I'm new in the forum and I was wondering if anybody knows if there is any airline hiring right now.

I'm Costa Rican, just finished my studies and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as to who I need to talk to to get started in the aviation industry.

Thanks
