Cirrus Transition Program

Cirrus Transition Program
Wondering if anybody has done the Cirrus Transition Program that the FBOs/schools with Cirrus planes offer? I'm looking to rent to do some personal flying and the difference in cost between an Archer III and the Cirrus 20 is like 15/hour so i figure it might be both fun, cost effective, and a good experience.
Just wondering how long it really took to complete the program and if you had any thoughts on it or anything else related to getting familiar with the plane or the Avidyne system?

Its a little from column A and a little from column B
Actually the Cirrus is about 30/hour less than what ive seen it rented for at most places, thats part of the reason i want to get checked out and use it. I figure about 25% of the cost difference between the two will be saved because the higher cruise speeds of the cirrus.

Nice, I'd say if you're wanting the Cirrus for travel especially go for it! I still haven't flown/ridden in one of those, looks like a fun aircraft, plus it's faster on 1 engine than my 2 engines
