I did gleim on the computer for CFII and Shepard Air for ATP. I'd recommend Sheppard Air. It is the same database as the instrument written as well as the instrument ground instructor except the CFII and IGI have 60 extra questions in the database relating to instructing.

Would recommend taking both the CFII and IGI same day. On an even slightly more off topic, cfi and agi are also same database minus a few off airplane topics.

With Sheppard their preps are set up a little bit different. They only put the questions that will show up on the test you are studying for. The IRA is around 900 questions where the CFII and IGI preps have about 300 questions each to study. There is some overlap but with Sheppard you will not be able to study for different exams by just buying one prep from each type of test. They do give you a break on the price down to $10 each after the first full price prep.

It looks like Sheppard Air it is. Downloaded the program and it looks pretty good. Was a little nervous when I got on the website since it looked like it was designed in 1999, but the product is good. Guess you can't judge a website by its homepage.

They keep everything very basic to keep costs down. They are a very small business with an excellent product. While I'm sure someone has failed a written using Sheppard Air I have yet to meet anyone who has not scored well on any written they make a prep for.
