Default moratorium on part 141 / 135 certificates?

Is there a moratorium on part 141 and 135 certificates ? I was told that faa wont work on initial certificates for these certs ..

Has anyone experienced this ?

It always depends on if they have enough personnel to work it. Are you looking for one? The first step is to call and meet with them and discuss it.

I have heard FSDO's having staffing problems which could lead to delays. If the delay is unacceptable to you then call your Congressmen and escalate it to your Senator's office You'd think in this economy they would want to help new businesses start.
