Default CRJ FTD trainer?

Hi everyone,

I am looking to do some part time CRJ200 FTD training at a local university flight program. Not a CFI or AGI, but am an ATP with 4000 hours 121 time. While I have been contacted by the director to meet in person for the position, I am curious if I would actually be permitted to teach in the FTD? As I understand the regs, sim training for a certificate or currency must be conducted by a CFI right? So with the FTD in a college program, am I wrong to assume the training is more for CRM and line orientation where a CFI might not be required? I would imagine since the program director has my resume and has contacted me to meet up, I would not imagine I would be in for a "well you need to have a CFI" type situation right? Thanks for your input guys!
