Get me a UPT slot and I'll be there.

I am at a four year aviation University. A cheap one at that. There are many more aviation universities out there that are MUCH more expensive than the school that I am at (ERAU, UND, ect...)

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

Usually some sort of envy drives that reaction. 141 flight schools are just as good as 61 flight schools. There are so many more factors involved in good training than the brand of flight school and the student's chosen path.

Go to any airline groundschool and survey who came from what school. guess what you get the gambit. What does that tell you? Don't believe the hype from the flashy advertisements of high-priced schools. Who cares where you got your ratings as long as you've got them? No one! Key is to act like a PROFESSIONAL from day one of training and fly like one. You do not need a uniform or syllabus to show you how to do that. Treat your training like it means something whether your at a mom and pop operation or Riddle.

Nothing is worse than talking to someone in at a regional and asking them how much they owe in flight training cost realizing your making chump change now. Go where its cheap and teach you right. Keys to success...

Like others said better yet let the government pay for you
