What is wrong with SAA in San Diego (KSEE)?
it seems as though the cat is out of the bag as far as the incompetence of the the DO.
as a result of some (more like multiple) stupid moves on her part, and her position that was manufactured by her husband, it is becoming more self-evident.
i'm only a new-hire, but i've only seen her on campus over a 2-day period in the past month. from what i hear, this happens quite often.
from what i understand, this is normal? where else in this industry would this be accaptable?
isn't a DO supposed to be super-involved in the day-to-day goings-on of such a large flight operation and not be on vacation all the time?
from what i hear, she is unable to answer technical airman certification questions from the production instructors (or anyone else, including the local FSDO).
is this not wrong?
isn't this part of her job description?

I left SAA last year.
I couldn't afford to live in San Diego, working less than 25 flt hours/mo (hourly rate), while my students were waiting between 2 and 3 weeks for stage checks.
The school grew too quickly, too soon, imo.
How bad are things over there, now?

the new owners finally realized how they were f-ing the company.
it's of their own demise and the company will benefit with their departure, and no-one feels sorry for them, except themselves, in all of their self-important-feeling.
the 2 of them were a joke to the industry as a whole.
all on campus are in a celebratory mood upon their leaving, per their overall distain.
they sucked. no-one licked them (and they considered themselves above those below them) and it showed.
the "we're better than all of you" attitude has, in fact, back-fired on them.
get out of my country, you make it stink!

Overall, its a very pleasant place to work, except not livable pay...it's in San Diego, and i got paid less than i did in Texas where i can rent a 850 sq ft apartment for $580/month.....the instructing profession is really a joke, they demand highly professional, but only pay us peanuts.......sad.....wish i dont need to instruct for living ever....
