I need multi time...
I'll be traveling around this year with my wife as she completes a medical rotation program through her school. Currently we're in SLC, will be in Tucson in February. Anyone know of a good place to rent ME planes in these areas w/decent rates? Info. on checkout requirements as well would be nice. I know I could call all of the schools/clubs myself, but a recommendation always helps.

Or are you trying to get minimums to meet some hiring requirement? If it's the later, I recommend you rethinking your money usage. Most places right now are requiring 200-500 hours of multi time just to meet the minimums. In addition to number of hours, airlines and the such like to look at "quality" of hours. Kinda subjective, but they prefer hours that are more important than others. A 135 freight dog or a MEI with 500 dual given multi will be far more valuable than a person who split 100 hours of multi with a safety pilot. Just saying... So even if you buy your way up to the minimums, there is not way to know for sure if you will get the job you are looking for.

Out of curiosity, what do you need the multi time for? Looking to get a MEI?

You are going to be very hard-pressed to find a school (anywhere really) that will be willing to rent a multi that is not Dual only. Insurance is prohibitive for the rental as solo. Case in point, the school I work for is Dual only on our Aztec. In fact the only way to get to fly it solo is if you are a current instructor whom is an MEI with our school.
Not saying you won't find a place in Az, just going to be very tough.
