Dallas flight training redux
I'm going to be in Dallas for work for almost the whole month of October.
I was thinking about trying to do my multi, or perhaps commercial multi, with ATP in Arlington, but I've never done anything with them before. I read -generally- positive things about them, but when they called me back the guy I talked to sounded like the typical 'staff CFI', and they sent me an email request for a 'FAA license verification', for which the form seemed geared towards only foreign pilots.
My immediate reply asking about that has gone unanswered for a week now.
Additionally, I'm a little put-off by their 'dress code'-As a professional, I recognize that 'looking professional' is mostly for those who aren't.
My question is two-fold:
* Does anyone have any opinion on ATP? I'm definitely interested in the accelerated training aspect, and I'd like to give them a shot.
* Does anyone have any suggestions for alternative training in Dallas? I'm currently PP ASEL +IR, working on my comm/CFI, but I'd love to add my multi, or do my commercial multi instead... I'm wide open for training possibilities, basically.. would like to try something new.
I posted a question like this last time I went to Dallas, but things may have changed a bit since then, and I really don't know what local is good. I'll be staying practically on top of DFW, as far as location.
