Does anybody have any experience with the Private Pilot program at Clover Park? Any pros and cons?

Clover Park Technical College - Private Pilot

Needless to say, because of the distance and time demands, I could not continue at Wings Aloft. However, with the coffee shop stabilizing, I am thinking of picking it back up again. Clover Park is very close to my shop. I haven't gone to talk with anyone there yet, but wondered if anyone here could share some thoughts. Non-hearsay thoughts, that is.

they do the flight training at KPLU and dont really know much about what they do over there. They fly mostly 172s and have a 182 RG that doesnt fly that much. No idea if they are expensive or a good deal.

You should go take a tour of the facility.

They do a lot mechanic training there and I think that is the main thing

Go to Spanaflight across the field or go see John Atchison at Puget Flight Service. Better airplanes, better prices, and none of the college program BS.

Clover Park has a good pilot program in addition to the AP/AMT program.

The fleet is Cessna.

No multiengine airplanes.

The students are expected to put in 3 hours a day. Part of that is in ground school, part flying. That's M-F.

If you can't invest that kind of time on that schedule you probably shouldn't go there.
