For a major? The right one, and that's not the highest paying one, necessarily.

I get A LOT of time off now, which I won't get anywhere else, but it still is not fun putting your life on hold for extended periods when I am at work. Also, it's very easy to get used to the tax free money.

But, Southwest would be awesome, since their junior bases are where I am, and a 3 day trip sounds awesome. And I think UPS would probably be ok... but those are both airlines that everybody wants to be at.

So, I don't know. I would probably take a job flying corporate if it was truly local (based in SoCal).

oops. sorry. my spelling is atrocious. i even used spell check, but must have selected the wrong correction from the list. i should have used "Cap'n".

I certainly wasn't trying to tell anyone how to act, just trying to demonstrate a potential situation and asking the OP if they could handle it professionally. some small population of folks can't.
