I'm 29, and I want to fly.... Am I too old?

For a major? The right one, and that's not the highest paying one, necessarily.
I get A LOT of time off now, which I won't get anywhere else, but it still is not fun putting your life on hold for extended periods when I am at work. Also, it's very easy to get used to the tax free money.
But, Southwest would be awesome, since their junior bases are where I am, and a 3 day trip sounds awesome. And I think UPS would probably be ok... but those are both airlines that everybody wants to be at.
So, I don't know. I would probably take a job flying corporate if it was truly local (based in SoCal).

I certainly wasn't trying to tell anyone how to act, just trying to demonstrate a potential situation and asking the OP if they could handle it professionally. some small population of folks can't.

It's all good! I just use CA, FO or FA.
