Default G1000 pc trainer v8.1

Hallo,

I'm using the G1000 pc trainer software. And everything works fine.

But I want to know if it would be possible to select the startup position of the aircraft when i start the software?!

Is that possible

I want it to start every time at KFFZ or near it.

Anybody knows how? I tried to find forums or help via google without luck...
Any good forums about the G1000 software?

Have you tried contacting the software vendor?

Recently I have been using the Garmin 430 PC simulator.
At the upper left there is a pull down menu that is titled OPTIONS.
Under OPTIONS is 'Initialize Position' and it gives you the ability to start the sim at any position desired using the 430 (in my case - inputting an airfield).
If the two sims are any thing alike - that might help.

Thx for the reply but...

I don't have that option...

Under options I only can select
Screen Capture
Reversionary Mode
PFD
MFD
Online
Pauze
Joystick config
FDE prediction...

Anyone else got an idea? Its version 8.01 I use. I forgot the zero?!

How about the HELP menu - and try searching 'Initialize position'
I'm sure it has a HELP menu!

You don't need to enter the coordinates. Afer Menu-Menu scroll down to the waypoint field and enter whatever airport, fix, etc you want the same way you would in a flight plan, Direct To or anywhere else in the system.
