CFI Jobs
Hey guys, my name is Samip and i currently live in Texas. Does anybody know of any part 141 schools that are hiring CFI's? I only have my CFI and have 320 hours. I'm going to start working on my CFII pretty soon. The job can be anywhere in the U.S.
Thank You in Advance

Nope - you wrote in the right place pimashahs, but many of your questions can be answered by trying a search of the database first and then coming back with some specific questions.

I think most 141 schools want you to have CFI and CFII before getting hired. Some even want MEI. If I were you, I would stay away from the career training schools because most of the career loans for flight students have dried up. If you go to an FBO or a school that trains foreign students, there will be more steady work. Good luck!

Proskuneho pretty much says it all. My school hired mostly ATP grads (CFII-MEI) and most of them already had 1000 plus when they moved here. I was one of the last ones hired as a new instructor two years ago. The only instructors they've hired lately were the guys who went thru the schools own CFI program here locally.
It has gotten really bad lately, instructor hiring got really tough about a year or so ago only cuz theres a pile of resumes for one or two opening every couple of three months. The only openings have been instructor firings lately.
That being said,,,,DONT STOP APPLYING, ESPECIALLY IN PERSON!!!
Put a face and a handshake with the resume you give them in person!...You'd be surprised what happens when you network in person!...Also, dont be afraid to take any job they may offer even part time instructing.
Good Luck
