But with DCA you have a guaranteed interview. Plus, they are owned by Delta. Doesn't those things make it worth the extra money?

amen DE...in what world is 40k extra in training not worth an interview with a company that is already furloughing current pilots...that is worth its weight in gold.....

..or plan B....save that 40k and go out and buy like 3 type ratings...then you are definatly guaranteed left seat of an MD-11

on a serious note....go somewhere else...save the 40k and if you really dispise that 40k and want it out of your life in a bad way.

1. Send it to me, i am in Iraq. Pm Me and i will send where you can wire the money

2. time building in a multi engine, if you get block time you are looking at about 285 hours of single pilot multi time.

3. Did I mention send it to me?

I will not post anything else because it has already been said, not to mention as more people see this topic you will get your fair share of DCA info.

come to think of it, as i read what i wrote above, i guess this wasnt very helpful, sorry.

No...there's no joke and you missed nothing. It's just when responding to a post, I may say a person's username out loud. For example, rick air seven seven seven seven. I never look at it as quad 7. I guess it's just my own personal humor. No disrespect meant rickair.

Thanks for elaborating ATP,

I do the same thing. My logic was we all know tripple 7 so quadruple seemed logical....I think it is safe to assume no disrespect meant rickair, atp, or myself. It is hard to tell what people are saying on these threads sometimes because text has no emotion or manerisms that are common with live interaction.

hah..kind of funny how as I am looking at it now we have 6 posts that have taken this thread out into left field...i will step down off my soapbox and allow someone else to put us back on centerline
