Default Checkride Guide

A few CFI friends and I put together a list of checkride tips for our student's flight exams. More and more students asked for the tips so then we put them online. Then we figured it would be helpful to most any pilot going for an FAA flight test.

So we polished it up a bit and here it is.

We always welcome feedback, as it's a work in progress.

Well done. I like the way you follow every PTS item. I'll use this site in the future.

Nicely done guys. Your work is much appreciated by the CFI's and students alike.

I didn't get a chance to read completely through the website, but I would suggest providing a link to the DPE database so that any student who goes to the site can find a DPE for their checkride.

This is a very nice guide. Should take some of the anxiety off of the checkride.

Minor nit - change the javascript links from "popup" to "newwindow."

I understand the desire to leave the original site where it is. But I prefer to decide whether a link opens in a new tab or in a whole new browser window and generally avoid sites that attempt to take that choice away from me.

Beside, given the prevalence of popup blockers...

Thanks a lot for this. Got the instrument ride coming up after the holidays, so this helps take the edge off a little bit.

Mercy!
