You're kidding right?
Why pay over 100K for your PPL - MEI, when you can get the same for 52K less + 150 more hrs of ME time (housing included), at a school literally down the street from them?
I'm sure they're a great school and have both good and bad attributes like all academies, flight schools, flight campuses do. It's your dime. Spend it how you want to.

The course for PPL-MEI plus SEI Add-on is not 100K. It's around 60K (not including housing). Is that still a good price?

I actually just sent my enrollment agreement back to them for a Jan 4th start date. Private, commercial, multi, and instrument will run $52,000... I know this is expensive considering you can do it for cheaper at a mom and pop school but I need and want it done quickly and efficiently. I will also not be walking out of the school in debt when I am finished as I am paying for it all out of savings. I toured many flight schools before making the decision to go there and their outfit was by far the most professional I had seen. You could eat off of their maintenance facility floor and they have more planes you could dream of. All maintained to perfection. Not to mention, Warren Buffet owns Flight Safety International... Anything he touches, turns to gold and I had no second thoughts sending them the $15,000 I sent them before I even stepped into their classroom or got a single hour of flight instruction. I don't think they will be closing their doors on me with my money anytime soon. I did my homework. I spoke with three different people through word of mouth who went to Flight Safety. They all had nothing but good things to say about them. I'll have to post my experiences in August when I graduate.
