Default Pay to Play

Pay to play will make a comeback.

Eagle Jet is one I came across lately thanks to DE727UPS.

Eagle Jet International, Inc.

Anyone know of any others?

I don't, and this certainly doesn't belong in the Hangar Talk section . . .

i think the real discussion should be how to eliminate pay to play operations...

This is the place for it, Sky.

I would like to think most of our readers can make better business decisions than to patronize such a facility. It is a free world however, and they are free to do so if they like.

Plane and Pilot mag is about to get the axe from me as well.

In one of their sections regarding things to do that are great for your skills/advancement there were things such as aerobatics, tailwheel, advanced cockpit and of course this amazing program where you pay 30K while training and acting as an FO in a beech 1900!

Hey guys:

What's your take on the outfit that's advertising as Flight, Inc. that has some sort of agreement with Key Lime Air out in Colorado? I understand the mindset with Gulfstream, but what about Key Lime?
  • strictly cargo.... no souls on board
  • main feeder of UPSCO
  • challenging flying conditions...etc
Do some of you still view it as Pay to Play or take a different view due to the nature of its operation?

I don't care what you're carrying, if you are paying to occupy an otherwise paid position, it's not cool.
